an oriole in a buried rock
wet eyes across an open window
a trumpet from a cesspool

a rooster quick like water
smoke behind a glance
and me, figured by quiet
a man about a horse

wine across a hair shirt
nails beside a dragon
hand inside an icestorm
her breath, almost motion

fieldmouse toward a moonray
the air around a sentence
frostbite to a furnace
somnolence over a steeple

embracing under a celtic cross
masthead of her hair ablowing
a seed between the continents
a book about a seed

a watchtower on the sofa
a brush beside a nude
a woman about clay and bones
a man about a horse
